Our Passion for Christ

The character and effectiveness of any church is directly related to the quality of its leadership. That’s why Scripture stresses the importance of godly overseers and delineates specific standards for evaluating those who would serve in that position. At New Ground, we are committed to the pattern established in the New Testament, and we thank the Lord for the qualified, able people who provide pastoral and administrative oversight to our church family.

Jesus promised to build his church (Matthew 16:18) and established Himself as its foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11). In Ephesians 4:8–11, the apostle Paul writes that church leaders are God’s agents in building the church as they equip the saints for the work of the ministry.

Our church has been blessed with godly elders who shepherd us willingly, eagerly, and humbly.

Bill Creutzberg

Senior Pastor / Elder

My name is Bill Creutzberg and I am blessed to be the pastor of New Ground. I earned a Bachelor degree of science and biblical studies from Moody Bible Institute. My greatest joy and purpose is to share the good news of Jesus Christ. I have been married to the love of my life for 33 years and was blessed with three beautiful daughters and seven grandchildren. I love the outdoors and spending time with my family.

Jack Fischer

Worship Leader

My family and I found refuge at New Ground several years ago, quickly becoming involved in serving and community in children’s ministry, worship team, and many other areas of New Ground. I have a passion for music ministry. A passion that continues to grow deeper every day. Teaching, guiding and helping people interact with and through the Holy Spirit, worshipping our great God not only by music and singing, but through submitting and surrendering ourselves daily in His presence, listening, surrendering all our cares, priorities, plans, hopes, dreams and even our fears. There is always something to praise Him for!

PJ Triplett

Administrative Assistant

I’ve served at church ever since I was little, normally in nursery so I could hold babies. I volunteered in nursery the very first week New Ground started and I have loved it ever since. My husband Cade, our daughter, and I love our New Ground family and are blessed to be able to call it our church. I’m excited for this new roll and to see where God takes me.

Amy Mosman

Children’s Director

I have served in some form of Children’s Ministry for as long as I can remember. When I was little, my favorite thing was to hang out in the Nursery holding babies. My husband Paul and I moved to Clarkston in 2013. We have 4 kids who we homeschooled and 2 nephews who graduated through CHS. I enjoy spending time with my family in any capacity and going to coffee with friends. Through leading at New Ground, I strive to know God and make Him known by meeting people where they are and helping them to see that God created them and loves them unconditionally. My great hope is that people will know that God loves them no matter what.

Steve Knoll

Elder

I have a beautiful wife Daelynn. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary this summer. We have 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. We came to New Ground Alliance church 9 years ago, after attending church at CrossPoint in Lewiston. We are blessed to serve God alongside our church family at New Ground. I worked my whole career in the grocery business. I started work at Food City in the Clarkston Heights during high school. I then went to work at Tidyman’s and worked in the Lewiston and Moscow stores for 9 years. Then I went to work at WinCo Foods in Moscow and then Lewiston for 28 years. I was able to retire early from WinCo foods because of their ESOP (employee stock ownership plan). I love fishing, geocaching, camping, traveling and just spending time with friends and family in the outdoors.

Elder

I ran a building contractor business for more than 40 years in the Eastern Oregon/Washington area. We were involved in serving positions in a small country church for more than 20 years. After moving to the Lewiston area and building a house, we started looking for a church family. We found New Ground after my wife attended a community event and was seated with two active members of New Ground. They invited us to come and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in the door. I was invited to be an Elder after we joined the church and I feel blessed to have been asked to serve. My wife and I have been married for 48 years with two adult children and three grandchildren. We enjoy spending time with family.

I was born in Pennsylvania but lived in many places growing up. From New Mexico, back to Pennsylvania again, to Florida, Arizona, and finally, Idaho.  I’ve lived in Idaho for the last 11 years and have found my home. I flailed blindly for most of my life in the far reaches outside the narrow path that leads to the straight gate, until March 9, 1980, when I was saved in a little church near Weikert, PA. My thoughts, language, and desires changed in an instant . . . for about six months. As I slowly and imperceptibly drifted away from the Lord and back to the world, I found myself alone and lost again. For the next thirty five years I “did a little better” behaviorally but couldn’t quite reconnect with God. Then, on January 12th 2015, in my apartment in Lewiston, the Lord washed me clean again as I knelt in prayer. My thoughts, language, and desires were once again changed. It was as though I was kneeling under a roaring waterfall and I could sense and see the power of the Lord clearing away the years of corruption. Now, by the grace of God, my desire and focus is on Him, His path, and His purpose for me and I’m blessed with a deep desire to seek and serve Him through His Spirit, His word and His church. I’m so grateful that He led my precious wife Karla and me to New Ground. Thank you Jesus!

I was born and raised in Lewiston, Idaho, and have been blessed to walk this life with my wife, Robyn, of 14 years and our 5 beautiful children. I grew up in church, and enjoyed the opportunities I had to serve on mission trips and in building homes in Mexico. My family and I were invited to New Ground 6 years ago and never looked back. It has been a blessing to find a church family full of children’s laughter and so many others who love and seek the Lord. I work as a Maintenance Technician with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and am pursuing continued education at Walla Walla. I enjoy serving those who God brings into my life and having the honor to baptize my two oldest children has meant so much to me.
